The website of Basler Frauenverein (now called familea) was based on a content management system (CMS). In addition to maintaining hierarchically structured content as is typical for a CMS, administrators published news, events, job ads and vacancies in day-care centers in this CMS.
Technically, this proprietary CMS was an object-oriented PHP / MySql application that used image pools to create a dynamic design.
